Frankly, I think this ad is a cry for help. It’s Bill Gates’ way of saying, “I can’t compete with INNOVATION (e.g. Apple, Google and just about everyone else except Microsoft), and I’m so mentally unbalanced that I no longer get a sufficient thrill out of destroying competitors, screwing my own customers and exploiting children, so . . . uh, I lost my train of thought, but I wear shoes, just like everyone else!”
