We scoured the Internet to find this year’s hottest Halloween costumes and predictably political costumes featuring versions of Barack Obama, John McCain, and Sarah Palin are everywhere. However, not everywhere Barack Obama costume represents change we can believe in, not every John McCain costume looks Penguin enough, and not every Sarah Palin costume is worthy of the VPILF. So we decided to compile this list of the 10 Worst Barack Obama, John McCain, and Sarah Palin Halloween Costumes (with a special bonus list at the end of the four best Halloween costumes!). Where do we start? Oh yeah - racism.
9. The “Doesn’t Even Kinda Look Like Obama” Obama Mask
Oh God. Nice effort there, mask company. Try wearing that mask and see if anybody even knows who you’re supposed to be.
8. The Afrobama Mask
He hasn’t had hair like that since they called him ‘Barry’. And that face is jacked. Not even sure if it’s different than the one above it. Either way, they both suck.
7. The Paper Masks
Don’t get a crappy paper mask. We know the economy is bad, but you’re not some trolley car hobo. If you’re going to buy a costume, you can afford more than a 99 cent mask. You might as well get a paper plate and write ‘Obama’ on it, you cheapo.
6. The Jay Leno-inspired Sarah Palin Mask
Does Sarah Palin have a jaw like Rumor Willis? You don’t have to like her, but you have to admit she doesn’t look like a linebacker.

Funny masks but I don’t get the commentary. How is the first mask racist? Is it because the skin is darker?
Racism is the ideal that one race is better than another. Making a mask a darker skin tone does not suggest anything of the sort. It’s just a mask-with a darker skin tone. It’s actually closer to his real color then the other masks. Since when has Obama been a weird yellowish tan anyway?
If anything, I think trying to make him lighter is showing racial intolerance.
