The Matrix Runs On Windows
We’re big fans of Macs so while we can’t exactly relate to this new College Humor video, we do find it very funny nonetheless. The video reimagines the movie The Matrix and places it in a world where it runs on Microsoft Windows. Predictably, it’s not nearly as efficient. This video is the best Microsoft comedy we’ve seen since Bill Gates teamed up with Jerry Seinfeld.

No. This is a powerful attempt to show that *any* OS is better than Windows, for certain things. Linux is a better server kernel, regardless of what OS is built around it (such as Ubuntu, Mandriva, etc). The Matrix would basically be a constantly running server, so Linux would be a better choice. Honestly, though, how many times has the “Send Error Report” button been pushed? Not many. I sent them when I used Windows, but…it never helps. That’s what The Oracle was saying, that it wouldn’t matter.
I am especially pleased with him saying he would learn Ubuntu, though. That is my OS of choice, for everything! Sure, it’s not for everyone, but it sure as hell is for me!
