It’s funny how quickly things can change. For years, the concept of a Black President was the basis for tons of hilarious sketches and stand up comedy jokes. But now that Barack Obama has made the idea of a Black President a reality, it will probably be a long time before we see any more Black President jokes. After hearing more than enough of Sarah Palin talk about the “real Americans” that live in places like Wasilla, Alaska, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show’s Jason Jones decided to head up North and get a first hand look at what those “real Americans” are like. And it turns out that “real Americans” from Wasilla are proud of their reputation as being form the “meth capital of the state.”

David Alan Grier’s new Comedy Central TV series Chocolate News features the return of one of In Living Color’s best comedic actors and we’ve got to admit we’re pretty excited about it. In this preview video clip, David Alan Grier offers a Chocolate News take on why Barack Obama actually won’t be the first black president (hint: because he’s not black). Now, if Grier’s old pal Homey the Clown would run for President…then we’d really make some history.

This is one of the greatest things to come out of Comedy Central. Now that Lehman Brothers and the rest of Wall Street has bottomed out, now seems like as good a time as any to find a new place to invest what’s left of your money. And we can’t think of any better place than Wu-Tang Financial, as profiled in this classic Chappelle’s Show video clip. Because after all, nobody know better that cash rules everything around you than the Wu-Tang Clan.

The Republican National Convention may be over, but the comedy it created lives on. In this clip from Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, correspondent Samantha Bee chats up delegates at the convention about Bristol Palin’s pregnancy and the “choice” she is making to have the baby. Plus, she finds out why the delegates think Sarah Palin is a great choice to be Vice President (hint: because “she’s a pretty lady.”)

Our favorite new Daily Show correspondent Wyatt Cenac was recently the subject of a Daily Show Profile and in it, you learn all kinds of interesting things about the latest member of the Best F*cking News Team Ever. For example, we discovered that he became a journalist because he doesn’t like to help people and that he’s not afraid to tell Brian Williams to “eat a dick.” Oh Comedy Central, what’s next?

This clip from Comedy Central’s The Root Of All Evil features Andy Kindler explaining why the NRA is the worst thing in the world. Who would have guessed that Andy Kindler wasn’t a gun-packing zealot? Oh wait, we guess everybody could have guessed that.

Comedy Central’s The Root of All Evil with Lewis Black is set to return later this month and judging by this trailer it looks like it’s going to be back with a vengeance. And by vengeance, we mean with the same comedians arguing about the same kind of ridiculous topics that made for great viewing at 3 in the morning when you’re drunk and there’s nothing else on.
