With the presidential election just weeks away from its dramatic conclusion (thank God), the candidates are gearing up for a last batch of serious campaigning. And that final push has inspired a great new animated musical video from the Jib Jab crew, which features John McCain, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, George Bush, Dick Cheney, and more teaming up for a song that explains how we got here and where we’re headed. And if you’re still confused for some reason, then you should probably go back and check out the Children’s Guide to Politics.

Anybody that has faith in the intelligence of the American voter might want to cover their eyes before watching this video of an average hillbilly woman breaking down her opinion of why this country doesn’t need “an Arab” like Barack Obama in the White House. But before you get carried away with the assumption that this is your typical redneck Republican, stick around for the second part of the video where she reveals that she’s no Republican…she was a Hillary Clinton supporter. Yikes. Kind of makes us long for the more thoughtful arguments we heard in Yo’ Candidate.

Michael Phelps hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live this weekend and even though the new season may have started with a bit of a whimper, we figured we’d share with you some video clips of the highlights of SNL’s latest episode - including an excellent cameo by Tina Fey as Sarah Palin in the show’s opening sketch. These must be tough times for the crew over at Fox News, what with the big news these days revolving around their Vice Presidential candidate’s daughter having an out-of-wedlock baby on the way and everything, but at least Bill and Hillary Clinton served up this lovely piece of video for them to salivate over. In the clip, Bill leans in to give Hillary a kiss and comes up empty when Hillary decides to turn away from her playa husband and instead give her former nemesis Barack Obama a peck.

It’s a right of passage for many teenage boys and scumbags. It’s a man’s way of showing proof that he’s digitally stimulated his lady friend. Here are the people who nobody would ever want that olfactory proof from. Ever.

In case you thought that the first Barack Obama - Rocky Balboa mashup was enough to tell the whole Baracky story…guess again. That was just the battle for the nomination. Now that he’s got it, Baracky II features Baracky gearing up to take on John McCain in the real heavyweight championship match.

OK, let’s be honest - we all know that we were only sort of paying attention to the neverending race to become the Democratic party’s Presidential nominee. But now that it’s over, the good people over at Slate have put together this quick video which recaps everything you may have missed over the past 12 months of Democratic bickering.

Even Bill Clinton is apparently sick of Hillary’s refusal to admit she’s a loser. That’s why in this video Bill (or at least somebody that looks vaguely like him) steps to the podium and quits on his wife’s behalf. He also explains that the reason for her decision to step down is her “dumpy ass” and explains what this will mean for him.

If you think that Hillary Clinton is being a sore loser when it comes to her inevitably failed quest to become President, that’s nothing compare to the way she handled losing in elementary school. As this video shows, Hillary was never one to accept defeat - in politics or Connect Four.
