It’s not often that we have occasion to post a video from the New York Times on this blog, but this creation fits the bill. The Times decided to take a break from reporting about wars and elections and instead set up a camera to tape people playing video games. Why? We have no idea. But the result is this video which shows you what you probably look like when you’re in the heat of the video game moment. Although some of you (we’re looking at you Glitch In The System guys) probably look much worse.
When we last checked in with the guys from Comedy.com’s original video game series Glitch In The System, they were busy harassing C-list celebrities about video games. This time around, they’ve found another interesting line of questioning as host Jacob Sirof tracks down Lynda Carter (aka Wonder Woman) and reveals to her that he’s masturbated to her in three different decades.
As Comedy.com continues to be a regular on the video game party circuit, our latest travels took us to the premiere party for the new Guitar Hero: World Tour video game. While we were there (”we” meaning Comedy.com’s Rocker Correspondent Mike Burns) we had the opportunity to interview some 90210 celebs and the game’s creator in addition to getting our Creedence Clearwater Revival rock on.
This video combines two things we’ve always found extremely entertaining - True Hollywood Story television specials and guys who take Rock Band video games way too seriously - and combines in them into one very amusing video. It’s probably the best True Hollywood Story we’ve seen since we found out about the sordid past of Spaghetti Cat’s rise to fame.
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane’s highly anticipated web series Seth’s Cavalcade of Comedy (located at SethComedy.com) has gone live with a debut episode featuring an animated version of a classic Super Mario Bros. joke. It might not be the most original bit in the world, but it’s pretty funny nonetheless.
Comedy.com’s very own video game series Glitch In The System celebrated the release of the new John Madden football game by attending a Hollywood release party and chatting up such celebrities as Tom Arnold, Tila Tequila and Joey Lawrence (Whoa!) about the game. Host Jacob Sirof asks the hard hitting questions that touch on everything from John Madden’s sexuality to the amount of C-list celebrity pussy at the party.
Fans of the classic video game Zelda are sure to enjoy this clip which revolves around a regular guy (Neil) who finds himself magically transported into the game after trying to masturbate while playing the game. Yeah, it’s pretty highbrow.
Comedy.com’s original video game series Glitch In The System decided to hit the red carpet at Gamespot’s party at the E3 convention and give “celebrities” like Vida Guera and Rashad McCants the opportunity to weigh in on the video game world. The results? We learn that when most celebrities go to a party they don’t bother to find out who is hosting it.
You know what classic video games were missing? Chuck Norris. Check out this video to see how much more fun Super Mario Bros. would have been if it featured Walker, Texas Ranger kicking ass and taking names.
