A bum panhandling on the corner approached a man and asked him for $2. The man thought about it for a moment and then asked, "Will you spend the money on booze?" The bum replied, "No." The man then asked, "Will you gamble it away?" And the bum replied, "No."

So the man took $2 out of his wallet and handed it over to the bum. But before the bum could walk away the man asked one final question: "Will you come home with me so my wife can see what happens to a man who doesn't drink or gamble?"
