An old lady was sitting on her verandah one day ,contemplating her bygone years, when suddenly her Fairy Godmother appeared. "Dear Ethel", she said, "You have lived a good life and I will to reward you with three wishes". Ethel sat back, amazed and expressed that if this is true, then she should like to be rich beyond her wildest dreams. In a flash the Fairy Godmother waved her wand and the garden before her filled with golden treasures and precious jewels. "WOW", said the withered old lady, "Well, I should wish to once again be young and beautiful." Again, the Fairy Godmother waved her wand and Ethel transformed into a gorgeous, young woman. "Right, for my last wish dear Fairy Godmother, could you turn my cat, Tiddles, into a handsome young prince please?" Once again the wand waved and as the smoke subsided, she could see that Tiddles was now the man she always wanted. The Fairy Godmother blessed her and suddenly vanished as Tiddles walked up to his new love, all suave with passion in his eyes, Ethel's dear heart racing ten to the dozen, he approached her casually, as if to kiss her ears, and whispered "Now aren't you sorry you had me neutered."
