Marvin was the only African American at the firm. Tim, another emplyee, asked Marvin to a Bar-B-Que. In the middle of the gathering, Tim announced that he had a man-eating alligator in his 9ft deep swimming pool. He said that whoever could jump in, swim to the other side and come out alive would get 1 million dollars. Before he could go any further, Marvin made a big "SPLASH" in the pool. Marvin was wrestling the alligator, pulling, pushing and basically wining the fight. So when Marvin got out of the pool, Tim told him, "You won Marvin, do you want your 1 million dollars now?" Marvin replied, "No" Tim asked, "Do you want a new car?" Marvin again replied, "No." Tim asked, "What do you want then?" Marvin replied, "I want the bastard that pushed me in that pool!"
