Two blondes were headed to California for the summer. About two hours into their flight the pilot gets on the intercom and reports that the plane has lost an engine. He explains that there are three more engines and that all is well, but it the flight will be delayed by an hour.

A half hour later the pilot gets on the intercom again and reports that the plane has just lost another engine, but its all right as there are two more. It will, however, delay the plane another half hour.

So one of the blondes says "If we lose the two last engines we will be up here all day"
