About Me[x]
Hello, My Name is:
Alex  Reymundo

About Me
"LATIN KING OF COMEDY www.alexreymundo.com"

Male
102 years old
CALIFORNIA
United States

Whether you first saw me in Paramount Picture’s "Original Latin Kings of Comedy" with Cheech, Paul, George, Joey and I (the Mexican Beetles ... I am the walrus), "P.Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy" or "Latinpalooza", which are all available on DVD.

Comedy has taken me from a small club in Arlington, Texas to Showtime, HBO, Comedy Central, the deck of the USS Roosevelt at sea and even breaking the sound barrier with the legendary Navy Blue Angels. My film credits include "The Movement", "El Matador", and "What We Did On Our Holidays" . In 2001 I wrote, recorded and produced my own comedy cd "Stop Me When I Lie". You can hear me as the voice of "El Guapo" on Disney/Pixar’s smash hit video game of the blockbuster movie "CARS".

As of recently with help of Latin King’s Executive Producer Scott Montoya, we produced my soon to be released 1 hour comedy special "Hick-Spanic", which will air in 2007 on Showtime & Comedy Central. I truely hope you enjoy what I do, as much as I enjoy doing it.

More about Alex!![x]
If you ask me why I am a stand-up comic, the answer is really simple - for the chicks! I always knew I wanted to be a performer and I realized at an early age if you could entertain you would get the women. I wanted to be a musician like Elvis, but took the comedy route instead. I am one of those comics that you know you will love. I walk on the stage with a bright smile and a personality that beams. Whether I tell my jokes in English or Spanish, I instantly grasp the audience and laughter begins.

Born in Acapuico, I arrived in the United States and settled in Dallas at the age of two with my parents, four siblings, four dollars and a language barrier. These hurdles were the instruments that taught me that anything could be overcome with the combination of hard work and the right attitude. I carry these values to heart on every project I become a part of, and in turn creates a sense of comfort for those who surround me.

Growing up with a large family, I was always performing. Me and my siblings would do sketches for the rest of the family that were influenced by what we watched on TV. We re-enacted scenes from The Carol Burnett Show to Gilligan's Island. My first real stand-up gig was at the Funnybone Comedy Club in Arlington, Texas. Over the years, I have been influenced mainly by what I refer to as "almost every road comic you have never heard of," as well as George Carlin for his wonderful way with words, Paul Rodriguez because he always had something to say, and Howie Mandel for simply the silly side of comedy. Being a bilingual performer has enabled me to work on projects for many corporations, associations and products.

Success equals lots of hard work plus preparation and luck. "Everything can be accomplished with hard work and the right attitude"
