Quickly capturing the eye of those in the know, Jay Phillips is gaining buzz as one of the hottest rising comedic stars to watch. Fresh off his roles in Baby Mama and Semi-Pro, coupled with his explosive and much talked about set on HBOs Def Comedy Jam, Jay is catching fire in the past couple of years with performances on The Late Late Show, Jimmy Kimmell Live, Laffapalooza, Weekends at the DL and Showtime s Big Black Comedy Show. Jay is also catching the industry's attention in his recurring role on the Fox Network / Fuel TV series The Daily Habit, through his hysterical sketch work and in his dramatic role as Jamani Phipps on The Shield.

My Favorite Comedy Movies
Top 7 Movies that I am not in: 1. Harlem Nights - I look at the movie poster everyday, watching so many Superstar comedians work together and EVERYBODY has classic scenes...big up Eddie for directing that cast. 2. Life - Another grouping of a great cast of comics ripping together mostly Ed and hometeam Marty Mart. 3. Pulp Fiction - Just a well written movie made me a fan of John Travolta s' work. 4. Coming to America - I guess you see a pattern here, good movie to watch with my sons 5. All About the Benjimans - Great job to my man Epps look at the credits he is a big dog on the exec side too. Thats game! get that money Mike. 6. Friday - Its a classic should be in every black home. along with some others that dont make my top 7 because its a package deal. 7. I Spy - One of my favorite actors Owen Wilson holds his own in every scene with one of the funniest men ever. I WILL DO A MOVIE WITH OWEN WILSON! (you too Eddie just going thru the proper channels)
